Alexa
So today we began with continuing the Power Point on maps and we discussed GPS. We talked about how it is cool that it can detect where you are and your exact position on Earth. But then we got into talking about how it could be bad such as if you wanted to get to a Rite Aid and you were far away from home and you needed to figure out where one is. So, you pull outpour phone's GPS or GPS in your car and type in Rite Aid. It'll then ask you if you want your location to be shared with Rite Aid to show you nearby locations. Then we got into talking about Alexa and how it could be recording your everyday conversations with your family ad relatives and saving them into files for people to hack into. But of course I don't know which to believe, I feel like since I trust the company that makes the Alexa, I can trust that they aren't doing this shady stuff, but then again this is the twenty-first century so this isn't uncommon to be happening.
